Alcohol, Aldesleukin, Aliskiren, Allopurinol, Alpha blockers, Amiloride, Angiotensin II receptor antagonists, Antacids, Antidiabetics, Antipsychotics, Anxiolytics and hypnotics, Baclofen, Beta blockers, Calcium channel blockers, Clonidine, Corticosteroids, Cyclosporine, Diazoxide, Diuretics, Estrogens, General anesthetics, Gold & Gold Compounds, Heparins, Hydralazine, Insulin, Levodopa, Lithium, MAO inhibitors, Metformin, Methyldopa, Minoxidil, Moxisylyte, Moxonidine, Nitrates, Nitroprusside, NSAIDs, Potassium salts, Spironolactone, Sulfonylureas, Tizanidine, Triamterene, Trimethoprim

PREGNANCY CATEGORY: D
category C in first trimester; category D in second and third trimesters

Contra-indicated in patients with hereditary/idiopathic angioedema and in patients with a history of angioedema related to previous treatment with an ACE inhibitor.

Tarka is trandolapril and verapamil.
