- INDICATIONS: Hypertension, angina
- CLASS: Antiarrhythmic class IV, Calcium channel blocker
- HALF-LIFE: 30–50 hours
CLINICALLY IMPORTANT, POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS INTERACTIONS WITH:
Carbamazepine, Conivaptan, Epirubicin, Imatinib, Phenytoin, Primidone, Simvastatin, St John's Wort, Tadalafil, Telaprevir
PREGNANCY CATEGORY: C
Safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients <6 years of age have not been established.
Lotrel is amlodipine and benazepril; Tekamlo is amlodipine and aliskiren; Exforge is amlodipine and valsartan.
