CLINICALLY IMPORTANT, POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS INTERACTIONS WITH:
Aprepitant, Leflunomide, Phenylbutazones, Prednisone, Propranolol
PREGNANCY CATEGORY: C
Tolbutamide is a sulfonamide and can be absorbed systemically. Sulfonamides can produce severe, possibly fatal, reactions such as toxic epidermal necrolysis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome.
